House Cleaning For Those With Sensitivity To Harsh Cleaners

Many people suffer from everyday allergies, which makes regular dusting and proper cleaning a must. The problem is that many also experience a negative reaction to common household cleaners, which may include difficulty breathing or other serious consequences in some cases.

Most cleaners offer a cautionary notice about using the product in well-ventilated areas, but that's not always enough. If you are someone who has difficulty using standard cleaning products or worry about using harsh cleaners around your family, you will be glad to know that there are alternatives.

Did you know that cleaning with vinegar and water is one way to remove some stains from of your countertops, appliances and even flooring? Of course, this combination does not eliminate the presence of germs, but it does create a nice shine. Baking soda, another classic, is also used for cleaning areas that just need a little sprucing.

For fighting germs, anti-bacterial liquid soap will do the trick. You can mix soap and water for a lathery combination that will clean mirrors, windows, doorknobs, bathtubs, showers, etc. For a spotless toilet, a scrubber with anti-bacterial liquid soap will even remove hard water stains.

One of the greatest benefits to using alternative cleaning products, such as those listed above, is that your children and pets can safely play without having to worry about harsh cleaners or negative reactions. Although the aforementioned products are common, they should still be kept out of reach of children.

If you still prefer the old fashioned cleaners, but have difficulty completing the task yourself, consider hiring a cleaning service. You can leave the house while the cleaning is being done and make sure the home is ventilated with plenty of air circulating when you return. If you choose this option, make sure to research any cleaning service before making the decision to hire. Check the company's record with the Better Business Bureau, ask about their employeescreening and selection process, fees, guarantees, etc.
