Work really hard on the descriptions of your listing, and inject words and phrases that really describe your item well. Provide as many details as possible to punch up the value, including details, if they are collectible items to prove the authenticity of the items. Include high quality pictures of the item, but do not try to deceive potential buyers! If the item contains flaws like marks or scratches, be honest, and make sure that the pictures convey the imperfections. Let potential buyers know how the item will be packed and shipped, and that shipping insurance must be purchased in case the item is damaged once it leaves your possession.

You can offer this escrow service as an option in your auctions, but make sure that the buyer understands that they must pay for the service. The service makes the buyers more willing to spend the money to obtain the item, and also protects both parties from fraud.
