The finished siding was manufactured from kiln dried 5" by 13" White Pine cants and incorporates Cedar Knoll Log Homes' unique shiplap jointing system.

"After meeting with all parties on the design of the massive Swedish Cope profile, we developed the custom templates required and machined the special planing knives to reflect the pattern. The raw materials for the siding were so large we had to customize the preplaning process to help remove some of the excess materials before finish planing. As part of this project, we also manufactured custom designed door and window trim along with hand hewn 12 inch round uprights for both interior and exterior corners to complete this special house," Marx added.
