Propertyshowrooms.com Expands Agent Programme
(PRWEB) May 5, 2008 -- Propertyshowrooms.com has today released its Agent Listing Service, allowing agents of all sizes to list their properties online without the need for complex management systems or XML feeds. High search engine ranking and strict control on the quality of listings make this service a highly effective one.
Today all types of sellers listing on Propertyshowrooms.com can be sure that their property is being placed on one of the widest ranking websites in the real estate world.
With a substantial increase in requests from both agents and developers wishing to widen the exposure of their listings, propertyshowrooms.com offers the ideal sales platform. "Last year Propertyshowrooms.com focussed on establishing a wider presence, taking on agents that were able to submit substantial numbers of listings at once. With the changes in the search engine algorithms however, public demand for more detail means we have found a balance that suits everybody; agent, developer and buyer alike", says Peter Mindenhall, Business and Media Manager.
"The new service aims to make the site accessible to anyone, regardless of location, wanting to advertise a property on our site. They could be small developers with just a couple of units or large, national developers and beyond with listings in the thousands. We want to give everybody the opportunity to market their properties on the site, as well as give site visitors the best possible chance of finding exactly what they are looking for without the clutter of poorly described listings."
The Agent Listing Service will allow agents to upload either by using a simple interface, or submit XML using a variety of known formats including Proptrack, Kyero, and Trulia, amongst others. All enquiries will be sent directly to the owner's inbox, enabling instant access to buyers as and when they enquire. Every listing will be displayed on its own page, allowing each property the ability to rank naturally in its own right.
Upgrades will be possible on different levels; listings can be upgraded to "Property of the Week" as well as be featured in a "Bulletin Mailer" which is sent to over 10,000 people who have searched for property within the site.
"We have been receiving direct enquiries from the public to list on our site for some time now, which had involved us putting the client in touch with a collaborating agent. For the most part this worked well, but with the ever growing demand from sellers to list in a wider variety of countries and regions than ever, we have seen fit to add For Sale By Owner (FSBO) to our services in the process," says Mindenhall.
"Whilst there are many websites that allow you to list your property, only a few rank well in the bigger picture when it comes to both general and regional searches. Even when they do, you can find your listing mixed in with a lot of irrelevant or poor quality listings, or stuck behind filters that mean your property has little chance of ever being seen'.
'The other key issue for many is the quality of listings themselves: many portals import anything in a bid to generate more content and attempt to rank higher in the search engines. Invariably what happens is the prospective buyer sees a number of poorly described properties with even poorer pictures, and simply leaves the site."
Since the beginning of the year, some 20% of Propertyshowrooms.com listings have been removed in a drive to improve quality within the site. Today, only results that give answers and information are displayed, providing the best results for end users.
