White Tail Resort Announces 3rd Annual Cool Car Show And Open House

Ivor, Virginia (PRWEB) July 2, 2008 -- White Tail Resort, Virginia's only year round clothes free resort, hosts its Biannual Open House on July 12 & 13, 2008, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, coinciding with Nude Recreation Week, celebrated July 7-12, 2008. The general public is invited to visit to enjoy the Open House and Car Show to discover what clothes free recreation offers them and their families. The Car Show is free for all to attend; the Open House is free for first time visitors. During Open House hours, visitors are most welcome to stay clothed, unless using one of our pools, the hot tub, or the sauna.

Nude Recreation Week started as a one-day event in the 1970s, by the founder of the Naturist Society, Lee Baxandall. This event has expanded to a week-long celebration of body acceptance and nude recreation.

Members and visitors are invited to display their antique, custom or special interest vehicles at the "Cool Car Show" July 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at White Tail Resort. Over 30 trophies will be awarded in many categories. There is no entry fee for participants and spectators. Those attending the Car Show, are most welcome to stay clothed.

White Tail Resort, established in 1984, is the only landed clothes free recreation facility in Virginia. Through the years White Tail has become a favorite vacation spot for over 600 members and numerous visitors. A family atmosphere, planned activities, great facilities and beautiful grounds keep people coming back time after time.

White Tail Resort is an active member of the Virginia Campground Association, the Franklin-Southampton Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of RV Resorts and Campgrounds, and the Trade Association for Nude Recreation. The resort maintains affiliations with the American Association for Nude Recreation, the Federation of Canadian Naturists, the Naturist Society, and the American Association for Nude Recreation Eastern Region.

White Tail Resort is located just off of US 460 and Rte 635, between Ivor and Zuni, in the Western Tidewater region of Virginia, thirty miles from Norfolk, and sixty miles from Richmond.
